  1. قد كافأوني بشر

    وانكروا لي حقا

    They have indeed repaid me with evil,

    and denied me my due.

  2. كذا الاسافل تجزي

    والله خير وابقى

    Thus do the ignoble repay;

    and God is better and more enduring.
