سري غدا في يديه
He cast aside my pledge, but
He lost my promise but
My secret came into his hands.
My secret is now in his hands
فلمso did not ألمهI reproach him بحرفwith a word
فلم ألمه بحرف

لفرط شوقي اليه
So I did not reproach him with a word,
So I won't blame him with a word
Because of my intense longing for him.
For my intense longing for him

في كل حال خليلي

يا نار كوني عليه
In every circumstance, he is my beloved;
In any case, my friend
O fire, be upon him.
O fire, be upon him
