ياO رَبِّLord إِنَّكَindeed You are ذوpossessed of مَنٍّbounty وَمَغفِرَةٍand forgiveness
يا رَبِّ إِنَّكَ ذو مَنٍّ وَمَغفِرَةٍ
بَيِّتlet pass the night بِعافِيَةٍin well-being لَيلَthe night of المُحِبّيناthe lovers
بَيِّت بِعافِيَةٍ لَيلَ المُحِبّينا
O Lord, indeed You possess bounty and forgiveness.
O Lord, You are full of favor and forgiveness
Let the lovers' night pass in well-being—
Bless with well-being the night of the lovers
الذاكِرينَthose who remember الهَوىlove مِنfrom بَعدِماafter رَقَدواthey went to sleep
الذاكِرينَ الهَوى مِن بَعدِما رَقَدوا
الساقِطينَthose who fall عَلىupon الأَيديthe hands المُكِبّيناthose bowing face-down
الساقِطينَ عَلى الأَيدي المُكِبّينا
Those who remember love after they have gone to sleep,
Who remember passion after they have slept
Those who fall upon their hands, bowing face-down.
Falling into the arms that embrace them
ياO رَبُّLord لاdo not تَسلُبَنّيever deprive me of حُبَّهاlove for her أَبَداًever
يا رَبُّ لا تَسلُبَنّي حُبَّها أَبَداً
وَيَرحَمُand may He have mercy on اللَهُGod عَبداًa servant قالَsaid آميناAmen
وَيَرحَمُ اللَهُ عَبداً قالَ آمينا
O Lord, never deprive me of my love for her.
O Lord, never deprive me of her love
And may God have mercy on a servant who said 'Amen.'
And may God have mercy on one who says "Amen"
