I yearn when I see my people's camels,
I yearn when I see the beauty of my people
And I weep if I hear their yearning cries.
And weep when I hear their wailing

وَإِنand even if خَلَتِlie empty الدِيارُthe dwellings وَإِنand even if بَليناwe have perished
May bountiful rain water my people's lands,
The blessed rain has watered the land of my people
Though the dwellings lie empty, and though we have perished.
Though the homes are empty and we are worn down
