اللَهُGod يَعلَمُknows أَنَّthat النَفسَthe soul هالِكَةٌperishing
اللَهُ يَعلَمُ أَنَّ النَفسَ هالِكَةٌ
بِاليَأسِfrom despair مِنكِof you وَلَكِنّيbut I أُعَنّيهاI torment it
بِاليَأسِ مِنكِ وَلَكِنّي أُعَنّيها
God knows that my soul is perishing
God knows that my soul is destroyed
From despair of you, yet I torment it.
By despair from you, but I comfort it
