مِنَone of الخَفَراتِthe modest women البيضِthe fair-skinned وَدَّwishes جَليسُهاher companion
مِنَ الخَفَراتِ البيضِ وَدَّ جَليسُها
إِذاwhenever ماan emphatic particle اِنقَضَتcomes to an end أُحدوثَةٌa tale لَوthat (expressing a wish) تُعيدُهاshe would repeat it
إِذا ما اِنقَضَت أُحدوثَةٌ لَو تُعيدُها
One of the modest, fair-skinned women, whose companion wishes,
Over the white horizons my love has passed out of sight
Whenever a tale ends, that she would tell it again.
