رَعاكِmay it guard you ضَمانُprotection اللَهِof God ياO أُمَّmother of مالِكٍMalik
رَعاكِ ضَمانُ اللَهِ يا أُمَّ مالِكٍ
وَلَلَّهُand surely God أَنto يَشفينِheal me أَغنىricher وَأَوسَعُand more abundant
وَلَلَّهُ أَن يَشفينِ أَغنى وَأَوسَعُ
May God’s pledged protection watch over you, O Umm Malik.
May God's protection guard you, O Umm Malik.
And God has power more than sufficient, more than ample, to heal me.
And surely God has richer, vaster means to heal me.
يُذَكِّرُنيكِreminds me of you الخَيرُgood وَالشَرُّand evil وَالَّذيand what
يُذَكِّرُنيكِ الخَيرُ وَالشَرُّ وَالَّذي
أَخافُI fear وَأَرجوand I hope for وَالَّذيand what أَتَوَقَّعُI anticipate
أَخافُ وَأَرجو وَالَّذي أَتَوَقَّعُ
Good and evil remind me of you, as does whatever
Good and evil remind me of you, and so does what
I fear and hope for, and whatever I expect.
I fear and hope for, and what I anticipate.
