وَماand not هُوَit إِلّاexcept أَنthat أَراهاI see her فُجاءَةًunexpectedly
وَما هُوَ إِلّا أَن أَراها فُجاءَةً
فَأَبهَتُso I am stunned حَتّىto the point that ماnot أَكادُI almost أُجيبُI reply
فَأَبهَتُ حَتّى ما أَكادُ أُجيبُ
No sooner do I see her unexpectedly
It was nothing more than seeing her suddenly
than I am stunned, scarcely able to reply.
That left me dazzled, unable to respond
