These fingers - what are these fingers?
I think they're poetry bursting from my heart,
Delicate images formed of beauty and charm.
If I love them, it's because I love her.
I have romanced them though they're unaware of my pain,
And do not recognize ardent love from playful flirtation.
I yearn for them though they bear a diamond ring
That dazzles eyes and captivates hearts.
When I think of them, my soul takes flight,
And the peripheries of passion whisper to my mind.
