I dyed my head with henna for the young ladies
As the suspicious one covered over his doubts
I make excuses one time and do wrong another
And from arrogance, sins cannot be counted
I delay my repentance fifty years
And I think the likes of me will not repent
With culture, our wood is straightened
But twisted wood cannot be straightened
