لِجارِيَةٍ مِن جَواري مُضَر
Is it from a house designed in a valley of betrayal
For a slave girl from the slaves of Mudar
خَدَلَّجَةِ الساقِ مَمكورَةٍ
سَلوسِ الوِشاحِ كَمِثلِ القَمَر
With ankles finely curved
And a dress as elegant as the moon
تَزينُ النِساءَ إِذا ما بَدَت
وَيُبهَتُ في وَجهِها مَن نَظَر
She adorns women when she appears
And the one who looks upon her face is dazzled
