  4. وصاحب النعمة لاه بها

    وحامل النقمة لا يهجع

    The fortunate is distressed by his fortune,

    The wretched does not sleep.

  5. رحماك يا خالق هذا الورى

    إرث لبلواه إذا يضرع

    Have mercy, Creator of this world,

    An inheritance to test it when it pleads.

  6. صعب علينا بعض ما قد جرى

    أما إذا شئت فما نصنع

    Some of what has happened is hard on us,

    But if You wish it, what can we do?
