Spread your wings toward a turbulent sea

With determination, its sword and tumult are damascened

    Until justice speaks through you

In its majesty and most noble morals

Until the glorious and the damned were made equal

With justice, so why should I be deprived?

When you are—God forbid—the one who oppresses?

You are God’s shade on earth

Restraining those who oppress or are impudent

So none should impugn the reward of jihad

To which, before all mankind, you rose unblemished
