لا زلت يا ملك الإسلام في نعم

قرينها المسعدان النصر والظفر

You are still, O king of Islam, enjoying blessings

Along with the two auspicious, victory and triumph

تردي الأعادي وتستصفي ممالكهم

وعونك الماضيان السيف والقدر

Vanquishing the enemies and subduing their realms

With the support of the two mighty, the sword and destiny

فأنت إسكندر الدنيا بنورك قد

تضاءل المظلمان الظلم والضرر

So you are the Alexander of the world, with your light

Outshining the two dark, injustice and harm

أعدت للدهر أيام الشباب وقد

أظلم المهرمان الشيب والكبر

You have brought back to the age its days of youth

Though obscured by the two aged, white hair and senility

وجاد غيث نداك المسلمين فمن

سحابه المغنيان

And the rain of your generosity poured on Muslims

From its clouds, the two bountiful

وسرت سيرة عدل في الأنم كما

قضى بها الصادقان الشرع والسور

And you went on with just rule among people as

Ordained by the two veracious, the Shariah and the Quran

ففق بنصر على الكفار إنهم

يرديهم المهلكان الغدر والأشر

So succeed in victory over the unbelievers, they

Are ruined by the two lethal, betrayal and evil

ثناهم إذا رأوا إقبال ملكهم

إليهم المزعجان الخوف والحذر

They frightened when they saw the approach of the kingdom

Troubling them the two disturbing, fear and caution

وما الفرار بمنجيهم وخلفهم

من بأسه المدركان السمر والبتر

And fleeing will not save them, behind them

Is your might, executed by the two ruthless, the brown and the white swords

وسوف يعفو إذا منهم بصارمه

وجيشه المخبران العين والأثر

You will still pardon if any of them survived

Your sword and army, as reported by the two informers, the eye and the vestige

ولو رقوا في ذرى ثهلان أسلمهم

لسيفه العاصمان الحصن والوزر

Even if they sought refuge in the burrows of rodents, your sword

Guarded by the two impregnable, the fort and the coat of mail

قضى بتفضيله عمن تقدمه

ما استودع المخبران الكتب والسير

Your precedence over your predecessors is ordained

As deposited with the two informers, the books and the history

عدل به أمن الشاء المهمل أن

يروعه الضاريان الذئب والنمر

Your justice has secured grazing sheep from

Being scared by the two predators, the wolf and the tiger

وجود كف إذا انهات تفرق في

تيارها الزاخران البحر والمطر

The generosity of your palm when it spreads, it floods

Through its two abundant streams, the sea and the rain

مكارم جمعت فيه توافق في

تفضيله الأكرمان الخبر والخبر

You combined all the virtues of generosity by which

You excel as confirmed by the two generous, the news and the news

فاسلم وعش وابق للإسلام ما جرت ال

أفلاك والنيّران الشمس والقمر

So submit yourself, live and remain for Islam ever since

The orbits and fires, the sun and the moon, revolved

بنجوة من صروف الدهر يقصر عن

منالها المفسدان الخطب والغبر

In prosperity safe from the changing fortunes of time, beyond

Reach of the two corrupting, misfortune and senility
