O you who are independent in wealth and generous in giving,

Whose gifts are like rain pouring down in abundance,

Who when you are generous with the world for one hopeful,

Your friends say far be it from you to be stingy,

Who when you unsheathe sharp swords in battle

Settles them in skulls and hills,

I used to submit in worrying speeches, but since

You turned, O Nasr, speeches submit to me,

And furthermore I have hopes in you and my expectation

In your elevation is that you will fulfill my hopes.
