1. سَقى سِدرَتي أَجيادَ فَالدَومَةَ الَّتي

    إِلى الدارِ صَوبُ الساكِبِ المُتَهَلِّلِ

    My two palms have watered the saplings, then the dew spot

    Towards the house on the side of the pouring rain

  2. فَلَو كُنتُ بِالدارِ الَّتي مَهبِطَ الصَفا

    سَلِمتُ إِذا ما غابَ عَنّي مُعَلِّلي

    If only I were in the house where Safa descended

    I would be safe if my blamer were absent from me

  3. هُنالِكَ لَو أَنّي مَرِضتُ لَعادَني

    كِرامٌ وَمَن لا يَأتِ مِنهُنَّ يُرسِلِ

    There if I were sick, generous ones would visit me

    And those who do not come would send
