I yearned to meet Hind time and again

When we met at the broken horn

Whether for the ascent of a day or the wedding of a night

    Before our gathering shattered

We said, if not for the companions behind us

We would have stayed and not hesitated

    A girl I thought oblivious

    In an untailored gown

Said to them, what I see

Is not a good reward for the noble one bidding farewell

They told her, your horn has not aged, so open for us

A small door, hiding from this matter, we may listen

She said to them, the matter has a clear path

Evident to one of heart who returns to reason

We lead whoever fears and walks ahead of us

And whoever fears your company’s companions, turn back

And I advise a boy to stand next to the

    Curtain hidden, watching, listening

If he sees, other than obligation upon us

He should hurry what he can and hasten
