Enough of sorrow that home united us,

Yet I seldom visit you each evening.

The heart is prone to increasing madness

With that which comes from you or secretly healing its injury.

He whose tongue does not exceed his love,

Has lodged his love for you residing in my heart.

It is not by adorning the tongue and shaping it,

Rather it has mingled with flesh and blood.
