With a fire I kindled after a long lull
In a house where I did not wish to stay
Except to rest my camel and belongings—
I kept them awake fearing they'd sleep.
They came to my fire, so I said "Who are you?"
They said "Jinn." I said "Go away into the dark."
Then I said "To the food," and one of them,
A chieftain, said "We envy humans their food."
