Why do you spurn me, O pillar of lenience and dignity
You who are from the family line of Al Abbas
The supreme head, you are the pinnacle of eminence
You left me in despair when I was in need
You turned me away like the unfeeling and indifferent
Desolate after prolonged agony
While people fulfill each other’s needs
Do not make flimsy excuses for me
You are not lacking in this or bankrupt
Rather, your rejection is the rejection of a savage
