O generous one whose kindness is hoped for, when
No good manners remain with him to hope for tolerance,
O open-handed one who gives freely what his palm possesses
Even if miserly palms are stingy,
You are too high for me to match your worth
And position, but still I am a designer,
I seek profit from your generosity, and who else
Seeks anything but profits from the likes of you?
The congratulations did not stop flocking to your abode,
Nor cease the joys in your house to follow each other.
