May God cherish our night at al-Ḥimā,
and the waters of its brimming springs.
The boughs’ lovely sky had indeed been adorned
with the stars of its radiant blossoms.
And the tender narcissus here among us has
faces radiant in our presence,
as though the fixed gaze of its blossoms
were eyes looking toward their Lord.
