1. مَباضِعُ إِسحاقَ الطَبيبِ كَأَنَّها

    لَها بِفَناءِ العالَمينَ كَفيلُ

    The blades of Isaac the physician are as though

    They have in the courtyard of the two worlds a guarantor

  2. مُعَوَّدَةٌ أَلّا تُسَلَّ نِصالُها

    فَتُغمَدَ حَتّى يُستَباحَ قَتيلُ

    Trained never to be sheathed

    Until a victim is legitimately slain
