سَأَلتُكُم رَدَّ جَوابي فَكَم

يَدٍ لَكُم مِن قَبلِها عِندي

I asked you to return my answer, so how many

Hands do you have with me before it

فَقَلَّدونا مِنَّةً وَاِعجَبوا

مِن سائِلٍ يَقنَعُ بِالرَدَّ

So they charged us with a favor and were amazed
