The sun comes and goes but for me
Sunrise is like sunset
One takes away sleep from my eyelids
The other makes my heart melt until dissolved
At dawn I yearn, oh my inner self
And at nightfall, among the homes, I wander
I lament with poems after parting
And watch the days until they relent
If my lamentation were, for all people
A sin, then today I'd be nothing but sins
But the heart's solace is that sadness
Has become poetry, loved by all hearts
