إلهي بِما أَسبَغت مِن فَيض نعمة

عَلى عَبدك الأَتقى الإِمام أَبي عَمرِو

My God, with the abundant grace

You have bestowed on Your most devout servant, Imam Abu Amr

أَجب دَعوَة المُضطرّ يا مَن لِمَن دَعا

يُجيب وَبَعد العُسر يَأذن بِاليسرِ

Answer the prayer of the distressed, O You Who answers

those who call You, and after hardship allows ease

دَعَوناك بِالأَمر الَّذي قَد أَمَرتنا

فَأَنجِز لَنا بِالوَعد يا مالك الأَمرِ

We have called on You regarding the matter You have commanded us;

So fulfill for us Your promise, O Master of Authority
