قالوا اِغترب في طلاب الرزق قُلت لَهُم

إِنّي سَأَقنع فيما قَد حَوَتهُ يَدي

They said, "Emigrate in seeking provision." I said to them,

"I will be content with what my hands contain.

ما لي وَللرزق أَنحو في تَطلّبه

أَقصى البِلاد وَرزق اللَه في بَلَدي

What business have I to traverse lands in pursuit of livelihood

When God's provision is in my own country?"
