لِلشَيخ بَحرٍ كَراماتٌ قَد اِشتَهَرَت
في الناس أَشهَر مِن نارٍ عَلى عَلَمِ
Sheikh Bahr has miracles whose fame has spread,
among the people, better known than a beacon-fire on a height.
قُدورهُ مِن حَليب باتَ يَملَأُها
غرفاً مِن البَحر أَو رَشفاً مِن الدِيمِ
He spent the night filling his pots with milk,
scooping from the sea, or sipping from the steady rains.
