  1. يا مالك الملك العَزيز

    اِحفظ لَنا يا ذا الجَلالِ

    O Master of mighty kingdom,

    Protect for us, O Majesty,

  2. سُلطاننا عَبد العَزيز

    شَمس العُلى سامي المَعالي

    Our Sultan Abdulaziz,

    Sun of sublime heights, lofty excellences.

  3. ملك لَهُ حسن السُلوك

    أَضحى لجيد الدَهر عقدا

    A king of fine conduct,

    Who has become the jewel of time’s necklace,

  4. حَتّى غَدَت كُلّ المُلوك

    تثني عَلى عَلياه حَمدا

    Until all kings

    Recite his highest praises.

  5. ملك حَوى كُلّ الكَمال

    وَسَما بِهِ عَرش الخِلافَه

    A king encompassing all perfection,

    Who attained the throne of the caliphate,

  6. وَالملك حازَ حُلى الجَمال

    وَالعَين ما نَظرت خِلافَه

    A king who won the adornments of beauty,

    That no eye has seen the like of.

  7. فَاِحفظهُ يا رَبَّ العِباد

    وَاِمنَحهُ تَوفيقاً وَفَضلا

    So protect him, O Lord of servants,

    And grant him success and bounty,

  8. فَهوَ الَّذي زانَ البِلاد

    وَحَبا الوَرى كَرَماً وَعَدلا

    For he is the one who adorned the lands

    And gifted the world with generosity and justice.

  9. وَاِحفظ لَنا يا ذا العُلى

    ربَّ الوَلا والي الوِلايه

    And protect for us, O Most High,

    Lord of governors, overseer of overseers,

  10. بَدر المُشيرينَ الألى

    ساسوا الرَعايا بِالرِعايه

    Full moon of eminent ministers,

    Who shepherded the subjects with care.

  11. وَأَخا الوزارة من عَلا

    لُبنان فيهِ وَنال عزَّا

    And brother of ministers, he excelled,

    In whom is Lebanon, and won might.

  12. ذو سَطوةٍ لا تصطلى

    تَهتزّ مِنها الأَرض هَزّا

    With formidable sway,

    At which the land quakes and trembles.

  13. وَاِمنَح بعزٍّ وَاِفتِخار

    مُتصرّف الأَحكام يمنا

    And grant in power and pride,

    Overseer of rulings in Yemen,

  14. فَلَقَد حَوى حَرم الفَخار

    بِمَقام إِبراهيم أَمنا

    For he contained the inviolable sanctuary,

    At the Station of Abraham, securely.

  15. وَأَدم لِمَحمود الصِفا

    تِ فَريق جُند اللَه نَصرا

    And support Mahmoud al-Sifa,

    With victory for the army of God,

  16. بَطل تَقلّد مُرهفا

    في كُلّ عُسرٍ كانَ يُسرا

    A hero bearing a piercing sword

    Who eased all difficulties.

  17. وَاِشمل طَوائفَ جَمعنا

    بِالفَضل يا رَبَّ البَرايا

    And include the groups of our nation

    With favor, O Lord of created beings,

  18. وَهَبِ السُرور مَع الهَنا

    وَأَدم لَنا حُسن العَطايا

    And grant us joy and bliss,

    And continue your fine gifts to us.
