لا تذكرنَّ بِسوءٍ من نظرت بِهِ

عَيباً فَما أَنتَ مَعصوم مِن الزَلَلِ

Do not speak ill of one you gazed upon

With fault, for you yourself are not immune from error.

وَاِستر عَلى الخلِّ ما تَلقاه مِن خللٍ

لَيسَ الكَمال لِغَير اللَهِ وَالرُسُلِ

And veil the faults you find, be they great or small,

Perfection is for none but God and His Messengers.
