Rejoice, my friend, and fill the cups with old wine,
And listen to the melodies of a soft voice,
That narrate the meanings carried by the breeze.
We maidens with swelling breasts,
Have made the lions our captives.
The roses have made their home on our cheeks,
Bewildering those who gaze.
Behind the veil, how many moons appear
Like full moons rending through clouds.
They adorned their faces under the veils,
With breasts like pomegranates that heal the sick.
If you are determined, awake though the birds sleep,
Delight in my meadows, and worries will vanish.
Do not fear my glances when dawn breaks,
And come harvest the fruits of my rosy lips.
These are my fields of beautiful buds,
Where glory grows brighter,
And in nights of attaining pleasures,
I hope for my share of the generous one's bounty.
