يا من له اسمٌ معربٌ عن فعله

وبناؤه المعروف أمرٌ بينُ

O You whose name reflects Your act

And Your well-known structure is a clear command

والقول عين الفعل منه إن يَفُهْ

ورجوعه عن قوله لا يمكن

And speech is the essence of the act, if one understands

And going back on one's word is not possible

جبلت على الإحسان ذاتك في الورى

وصفاتك الحسنى بذاتك أحسن

Your essence is created for benevolence in existence

And Your beautiful attributes are most beautiful in Your essence

قد قابل الإحسان منك مسيئنا

فإذا أسا أحدٌ فإنّك محسن

Evildoers have been met with benevolence from You

So if anyone does evil, You still do good
