حسن ذات الغيد من وجه الذات

وهي في التوحيد عين الصفات

The essence of beauty from the essence of the self

And it in oneness is the essence of attributes

عقدها في الجيد درّ الآيات

وجْنة التوريد خدّاً لمشكاة

Its necklace in the excellence the jewelry of signs

And the garden of chord a wick for the lantern

من لذا فهم جهبذ فهم

مطلق التقييد في الكمالات

One who understands this, understands

Free of restrictions in perfections

مذ تجلّت منّي في ليل الأسحار

غبت فيها عنّي في ذيل الأستار

Since you appeared to me in the night of daybreak

I was absent in you at the end of the curtains

أشهدتني أنّي عينٌ في الآثار

وأنا المغنّي في وتر الأوتار

You witnessed me that I am an essence in traces

And I am the singer in the string of strings

هات من يهم بي إذا يهم

يلق في تغريدي حسن النغمات

Give me one who cares about me when he cares

He finds in my singing the beauty of melodies

عين ذاتي رائي ميم فرقاني

تتلو من أسماء جمع قرآني

The essence of my self seeing the letter meem of my Quran

It recites from the names the collection of my Quran

وبحاء الباء وجد وجداني

سين سرّ الياء عين عرفاني

And the ha of baa and finding and my findings

The seen of the secret of ya the essence of my knowledge

أيّها الكلم سل منك الكلم

تجد من توحيد مثنى الآيات

O you the word ask from you the word

You find from oneness the dual of signs

نفحة الريحانه وردنا المشموم

وبمسك الحانه كأسنا مختوم

The breeze of sweet basil and our rose is smelled

And with the musk of tenderness our cup is sealed

جامعا فرقانه كتابٌ مرقوم

عنده سبحانه ظاهرٌ مكتوم

Its Quran a collector a written book

In his glory an apparent a hidden

أبدأ واختتم منك واختتم

خاتم التجريد نقش المرآةِ

I start and end from you and end

The seal of pure essence the inscription of the mirror
