If the full moon met a part of your brilliance tomorrow
It would be extinguished in passion’s fervor
A joyful glance of yearning, should it shine, would itself vanish
Bewildered in your light, utterly confounded
And if you walked on pebbles, your trailing robe
Would make them musk, exhaling, melted
As carnelian, my tears - your cheek’s radiance
Turned their pearls to coral and rubies
