If I return, though uninvited, I'm akin to thirst

And who would blame the thirsty should he return to drink?

If I'm absent, your gaze that haunts me is enough -

Its testimony present before my eyes and mind.

Your love decrees my return - it holds sway

O'er spirit and flesh through each twist and turn of fate.

If I'm the full moon, moons borrow all their light

From the sun - its radiance pierces through the gloom of night.

My return is a celebration - and he is the most praised.

Through his grace I've a share of joy and bounty.
