عليكم بذكر الله جلّ جلاله

ففيه شفاءٌ للقلوب من الصدى

Remember God, glorified is His majesty

In it is a cure for hearts from grief

ودوموا على ذكر الجلالة إنّها

نجاةٌ وحصنٌ يا أحبّتنا غدا

And persist in remembering the Majesty, it is

Salvation and a fortress O our beloved tomorrow

وهيموا بها في كلّ حالٍ ودمدموا

ولا تسمعوا عبداً عتيداً تنمردا

Roam with it in every state and murmur

And do not hear a resolute slave rebelling

وجدّوا بحسن السير والتزموا الرضا

وكونوا بصدق العزم كي تغنموا الندى

Be diligent in good conduct and adhere to contentment

And be with true determination so you may gain blessings

وسيروا على نهج الأوائل وارشفوا

خمور الصفا إذ وِردُها طاب موردا

And walk the path of the ancients and sip

The wine of purity when its valley flowed pleasantly

هنيئاً لأهل الذكر قد طاب عيشُهم

وفازوا بقرب الحقّ في أمد المدى

Congratulations to the people of remembrance, their life is pleasant

And they succeeded in nearing the Truth in the course of time

ويكفيهم ما جاء أنّ ملائكاً

تحفّهمُ من طارق الغيّ والردى

And it suffices them what came that angels

Protect them from the darkest adversity

وقد صحّ أنّ الله جلّ جليسهم

فيا حبّذا ذاك الجليس لذي اهتِدا

And it is true that God, glorified, is their companion

So excellent is that companion to one who is guided

ونرشف منه خمرةً صمديّةً

معتّقةً قِدماً بها الحيّ عربدا

And we sip from Him a Samad wine

Aged, the alive have danced to it

رواها لنا البكريُّ شيخُ طريقنا

إمامُ الورى الداعي الأنام إلى الهدى

Recited to us Al-Bakri, sheikh of our path

The imam of mankind, calling people to guidance

عليك رضاء الله ينهلّ بالندى

مدى الدهر ما شادٍ بمورده شدا

Upon you is the pleasure of God, it pours with blessings

As long as the world exists, one stationed at its valley poured
