بادر إلى البكر من يد ساقينا

السيّد البكريّ تاج المحبّينا

Hasten to the early wine from the hand of our cupbearer

The master of the early wine, crown of our beloved

فيا لها خمرهْ تُجلَى إلى الحضرهْ

فانفِ بها الكدرهْ واشرب وعاطينا

Oh, his wine reveals clarity to the presence

With it dispel gloom and drink and give us some

فيها رأى عيسى نوراً وتقدّيسا

كما رأى موسى في طور سينينا

In it Jesus saw light and sanctity

As Moses saw on Mount Sinai

فأفرغ الأكياس ونادم الأكياس

واجعل ختام الكاس صلاة هادينا

So pour the wineskins and make the wineskins your boon companions

And make the seal upon the goblet a prayer guiding us
