  1. وجّه من أهواه أسفر عن صباحٍ وصِباح

    في التجلّي حيث انجلى

    In that revelation where he shone

  2. وجلا كأسي من صافي الراح

    ووجدي فيه راح

    And my cup gleamed with the pure comfort

    And I found solace in it

  3. وانجلى في حسن مظهر من ملاح ورداح

    كلّ هيفا تسبي الحجا

    And brightness in the beautiful appearance of the sail and the meadow

    Every alluring one captivates the minds

  4. من فتى هائم وبالسكر راح

    في غرامٍ ذي افتضاح

    Of an infatuated and intoxicated youth

    In a love of scandal

  5. في رياضٍ تتعطّر حيث زهر الوصل فاح

    فاح نفحاً ذاك الشذا

    In gardens that exude fragrance where the flower of union bloomed

    That fragrance diffused the redolence

  6. عرف النادي وهو الفيّاح

    في الروابي والبطاح

    It knew the club and it is the key

    In the hills and low lands

  7. جامع المحبوب أزهر بورودٍ وأقاح

    كرياضٍ في الأزدها

    The gathering of the beloved blossomed with roses and flowers

    Like gardens in the meadows

  8. طابت عرفاً يحيى الأرواح

    في غدوٍّ ورواح

    Their fragrance was good, enlivening the souls

    In the morning and in the evening
