كأس شمسنا بعلى سماء بدر الورد

دار بيننا بطلا توحيد ذكر الفرد

Our sun's chalice on high heaven's full moon rose

A house amidst us did reveal the One's laud flows

أسماء فعالا سومها تغالى

قد عزّت مثالا

Names in acts we spelled and so surpassing went

For a paragon they made ascent

غيد قدسنا بجلا مشهد مجلى نجد

تَجلي عرسَنا بحلى نظم لآلي العقد

Our feast's sanctum with glory appeared unspoiled

Union's nuptials with gems in arrayscompiled

ظاهرا جمالا باطنا جلالا

جامعا كمالا

Outward beauty and inward majesty

All perfection encompassing

بدر أنسنا كملا بأوج أفق السعد

إذ سنا السناء على سيناء طوري يبدي

Our blissful moon fully arose in fortune's high crest

When praises on Sinai's peaks were expressed

نوره تلالا والحجاب زالا

والعطا توالى

Its light on hills and vales shone, veils all gone

And bounty continuous streamed on

انعم إنّنا بملا ذكر المعيد المبدي

من صفا الدنان ملا كأس التجلّي العندي

With cherished mention of the herald the world makes blessed

We're graced with lofty spirit rapture possessed

فانثنى ومالا صبّه وجالا

يميناً شمالا

In his overflowing cup of epiphany manifested

Right and left hands it rested

ليس عندنا لا ولا عند السوى من قصد

حيث وردنا عللاً من نهل عذب الورد

Naught have we, nor other than He, to our quest

Where we attained fine wines from camphor's spring impressed

والحبيب والى خمرنا الحلالا

صافياً زلالا

Beloved o'er lawful wine that pure is, clear

To exaltedness ascend, draw near

جلّ ربّنا وعلا ذو الكبريا والمجدِ

في شهودنا سبلاً من التجلّي يهدي

Great is our Lord. Sublime, of Grandeur possessed

Pathways of theophany to our witnessing addressed

فله تعالى حمدنا توالى

حالاً ومآلا

To Him exalted our praises rise, flow

State after state, e'er so

كأس خمرنا اتّصلا بمسك ختمٍ ندّي

حيث أنّنا لصلاة مع السلام نهدي

Our wine's filled cup joined musk's sealed stamp's perfume

As prayer and peace we to the living doom

من أحيا الكمالا وصحبا وآلا

من إليه آلا

He who perfected, and his companions of yore

To him we came, nothing more
