A full moon appeared in hidden veils, its light concealed from all
Covered in appearances, yet only its emergence
From the essence of the eye, its presence hidden as a secret
With your face's eye I gaze, and in you its origins
Above the above, where is the below to deny determination?
Revealed light, O my Master
It is one, not dual, and multitude appears in difference
A branch bent in the all-encompassing beautiful blossoming meadow
Intimate knowledges of the Greatest Sheikh
Blowing with the fragrance of sweet scent in the gardens, its emergence
The subtlety of taste draws us near, the description of longing makes us tender
Good interpretation, O my Master
When Layla's face cleared, through it all were lost
And the dawn shone nighttime with the light of intimacy's sun
And he inclined with yearning, lamenting with the voice of song
If you blow in the flutes, then the spirit blows its forms
The being of devotion makes us passionate, above devotion composes us
Whenever it is said, O my Master
We were absent from the eye from us when its lute rang
We were healed by us where its presence manifested from the unseen
O One, nothing dual unless by a collected existence
A meaning appeared in symbols, by it the passionate one pounds the mountain
So hide the longing, color me within taste, affirm me
Thus perfection, O my Master
