هذا سبيلُ اللَه همَّ بهِ الهما

مُ عليُّ محيي الدينِ رِيّاً للصَدِي

This is the path of God, so be resolute in purpose

Mu'ayyad, reviver of religion, flowing freely

وقفُ الامير الهام جوداً ملحمٍ

ذاك الشهاب ابن الشهاب الاوحدِ

The outstanding prince stopped to give generously

That meteor, son of the unique meteor

وِردٌ صَفا وَصفاً فيا مستورداً

أرّخ سبيلاً جاءَ عَذبَ الموردِ

Pure spring, describe it to those asking
