O gentle breeze carrying my greetings

Take my salutations to the dignified valley

That fertile valley in the morning

    And its generous inhabitants

    Where the bowed narcissuses

    Stand tall on their stems

And the iris and tender narcissuses bloom

Inclining, with the roses tucked in their buds

And the scent of the tarragon is wonderful

    Beyond the fragrance of musk

    The flowers boast about it

Like armies when arrows are shot

The basil woke up on its branch

Then wilted, complaining to the critic

While springs flowed at its base

    Caring for it with service

Since the eyes of the clouds wept over it

Its flowers received them with a smile

    The morning breeze sipped

    Its sweet lips and mouth

    Kissing it in gardens

    Of those beautiful, distinguished faces

In the early morning, it shook hands

With the tender boughs of the garden

    The swaying branches leaned

Dancing to the song and cooing

The nightingale professed in the pulpit

Of the lote tree, becoming like an imam

And the laughing dove, the tooth and the sparrow

    Started charming with melodies

While the ring-necked ones sang sadly

Stirring the passions of my love

    Whenever they counted their laments

They stirred the stillness of my infatuation

Joining their laments, my heart took flight

Oh my heart, roam through the plateau

    And bells were ringing

In the middle of the night, piercing the darkness

    Awakening every devout worshipper

Whose eyelids did not experience sleep

Remaining, lifting his mind to God

    Drawing its intelligence from inspiration

Forgetting, every day, all behind him

Moving forward in life toward the fore

With a prayer that rose with a gentle passion

Rising above the pulpit of minds

Among them is no sleeper, even if night falls

    No stumbler, no waverer

The pact of the Victorious united them

Into a group of unique organization

    Strolling humbly, fearfully, solemnly

    Calmly, modestly, submissively, respectfully

Bowing voluntarily to the leader of the pact

The elucidator, distinguished by His mark

And Abraham and then Peter, my pillars

Leave the others, offspring of Abraham’s folk

Where is Levi and his party and children?

You are the imam of guidance, you are my imam

That is how they came to you, O son of the generous

Virtues competing to reach you, O son of nobility

And if they present a poem

They present it from the choicest speech

Wearing mourning clothes over lean bodies

That barely hide their protruding bones

For them are righteousness, chastity, and a gown

    Not worn out over days

Their belts of devotion belted them

    Granting purity to their bodies

    Caps crowned them, protecting them

    Forgiving every fault and mistake

    Their determination healed from illnesses

And won peace from this conflict

And they fought the three enemies courageously

With piety, not with ringing swords

Then they deafened the heart of the devil, so it fell

Not from a firm arrow, but from temptation

If only I had shared their zeal before

And tasted the cup of their ardour

Is always before me wherever I turn?

And love of them settled in a heart

    Agitated by intense infatuation

Cry out, my companion, to my companions

Then cry out to me with the cry of my noble friends

Their rain was not like a vanishing rain

Nor their lightning like misleading lightning

    Nor their promise without loyalty

    Nor their oath without integrity

Nor their earth like the earth of Sibakh

    Nor their fire without embers

    Nor their devotion without righteousness

    Nor their peace without reconciliation

If you seek Heaven and its bliss

Receive from the gifts of favors

    A kingdom containing all purity

Ruled by the angels of the Most High

And the generous offspring of the noble

And the noble prophet and predecessor

The imam of guidance, supreme in status

And the descendant of the prophet

Exalted in rank, Zechariah the Chosen, the resolute

And the accompanying angel who eased sorrow

And the shining lamp in the darkness

O God, keep safe the land of the Valley of Jesus

And quench it from the torrents of generosity

And keep safe its established monastery

And protect it from every destruction

After its features were worn by time

Wanting for its builder and warrior

    Safety from its despicable enemies

My need, purpose, desire, and death

    My wish, pride, and purpose

Especially a superior, dutiful, virtuous one

    Abundant in virtues, resolute

My path, my example, my guide

My reliance, my master, my imam

He is my gentle, ripe, perfect one

Yet far, far away between us is desert and sleep

God's favor flowed in their minds

Like the spirit flows in bodies

    Perfecting every perfection with righteousness

    Completing every completeness with strife

Delayed by the stumbling of feet

Misfortunes threw him into wild valleys

In the land of the idols' city

I felt wretched when I left its ground

Like a sick man in the grip of illness

My state in Beal's land was like

The state of the wounded among worries
