بيتٌ لإيليَّا بُني بِعنايةٍ

مِن نَجْمِ عَسَّافَ الذي فيهِ سعَى

A house built with care

From the star of Asaf the passionate

ولقد كتبتُ مُؤرِّخاً في بابهِ

يا حَيُّ كُنْ بخلاصِنا مُتشَفِّعا

And I have recorded in its door

O Living One, intercede for our salvation
