I see the people sick from your absence, and their nearness

Is like shyness, as the thirsty awaiting rain.

If you asked the thundering clouds for people one day,

They would pour down their overflowing showers.

He who keeps property and defends it from loss

Neither time will keep it, nor excessive stinginess.

And he who bears the great cross of hope

To break the rod of fate, fate will break him.
