للهِ دَرُّ الْمَقْبَلِيِّ فإنَّهُ

بَحْرٌ خِضَمٌّ دانَ بالإنْصافِ

By God! Dar is an ocean, deep and just

Its waves have targeted arrows

أََبْحاثُهُ قَدْ سَدَّدَتْ سَهْماً إلى

نَحْرِ التَّعَصُّبِ مُرْهَفَ الأَطْرافِ

To the throat of bias, sharp-edged

So its lighthouse is the flag of success

فمنَارُهُ علَمُ النَّجاحِ لِطَالِبٍ

مُذْ رَوّحَ الأَرْواحَ بالإتْحافِ

For the seeker since olden days of grace
