شُغِلَ الفُؤَادُ بِحاجَةٍ

شُغِلَ الفُؤَادُ بِحاجَةٍ

وَمِنَ الإلَهِ نَجارُها

وَمِنَ الإلَهِ نَجارُها

The heart is preoccupied with a need,

and from God comes its resolution.

يا رَبِّ مُنَّ لَنَا بِها

يا رَبِّ مُنَّ لَنَا بِها

بِكَ يُرتَجَى إحْرازُها

بِكَ يُرتَجَى إحْرازُها

O Lord, graciously grant it to us;

through You, its attainment is hoped for.
