يا رَبّ زِدْني نِعَما

واصْرِفْ عَنّي النِّقما

O Lord, grant me more blessings

And turn away harm from me

ثُمّ أهْدِني إلَى الذي

يُرْضَى طَرِيقاً أَقْوَما

Then guide me to the path

That is most upright

وامْنُنْ بِنَصْرٍ مِنْكَ لي

لِدَفْعِ ما قَدْ دَهَما

Bestow victory upon me

To repel the injustice of the unjust

مِنْ ظُلْمِ ذي الظُّلْمِ ومِنْ

فِقْدانِ مَنْ يَحْمِي الحِمَى

And the absence of those who protect the sanctuary

Wealth has become plunder in all regions

قَدْ أضْحَتِ الأَمْوالُ في ال

أَقْطارِ نَهْباً والدِّما

And bloodshed

So much turmoil has spread

كَمْ فِتْنَةٍ عَمَّتْ وكَمْ

ناجِمِ شَرٍّ نَجَمَا

And so many stars of evil have shone
