1. تَكَدَّرَ القَلْبُ مِنْ مِنْ أمُورٍ

    لَيْسَ لها غَيْرَ ذي الجَلالِ

    The heart is troubled by affairs

    That have no solver but The Majestic

  2. وإنَّني أعْجَزُ البَرَايا

    عَنْ حَمْلِ ما دُونَ ذَا بِحالِ

    And I confess being too weak

    To carry what's less than His load

  3. يا رَبِّ إما دَفَعْتَ عَنّي

    ما نَالَني مِنْ أَذَى الرّجالِ

    O Lord, either You have warded off

    What has come to me from men's harm

  4. أَوْ خِرْتَ لي بالّذي تَرَاهُ

    إمّا بَحَلٍّ أَوْ ارْتِحالِ

    Or choose for me what You see fit

    Whether to endure or depart
