كتبوها مثل الحواجبِ نونا

وأروها قوامهَا في الكتابِ

They wrote it like arched eyebrows, nun

And showed its form in the book

ثم مازالتِ المشايخُ حتى

علموها الدلالَ في الكُتَّابِ

Then the elders continued until

They taught it grammatical inflection in the scribes
