كل يترجم عن إحساسه لكمو

نحن اللسان وهذا الاحتفال فم

Everyone translates according to his own feeling

We are the tongue and this is the celebration, so

جد بالتفات تر الأنظار شاخصة

ترنو ابتهاجا لمولاها وتبتسم

Pay attention, eyes are watching intently

Looking with joy to their Master and smiling

إن قيل فيك استوى بشر فلا عجب

فالعرش عرش القلوب أيها الحكم

If it is said about you that you are equal to humans, no wonder

For the throne is the throne of hearts, O Ruler

شفاؤك اليوم يا مولاي فيه شفا

لساكني القطر إذ أنت الشفا لهم

Your healing today, my Master, in it is healing

For the inhabitants of the country, as you are their healer

كأنك اليوم في دست الإمارة قد

وليته ثانيا فلترسخ القدم

As if today you regained leadership

If only for the second time, so the feet become firm

يا ناصر الحق لا زلت النصير له

فلتحي وليحي فينا ذلك العلم

O supporter of truth, you still support it

So may it live and live in us that knowledge

كم بات يدعو لك الديان مبتهل

حتى تقلص ظلا وانتفى الألم

How much the religious prayed for you imploring

Until the shadow diminished and pain disappeared

وكم توسلت الثكلى بمرضعها

تلك الليالي وجارى الأيم الهرم

And how many bereaved mothers pleaded by their infants

Those nights and the old continued their weeping

وكم تلا القوم آيات الكتاب وكم

تلوا حديثا وكم حفت بك النعم

And how much did people recite the verses of the Book and how much

Did they recite the hadith and how much did prosperity surround you

لم لا وفيك خلال لا نظير لها

لطفا وحلما وفي أخلاقك الكرم

Why not, when you have unique traits

Of kindness, patience and generosity in your morals

دم في المكارم سباحا بلجتها

فأنت بالفضل موسوم ومتسم

Swimming in generosity, diving in its depths

You are marked with virtue and character

ملكت باللطف أحرار الضمير فقل

تسمع وحسبك بالأحرار أنهم

You won the free-spirited with kindness, so say

It is enough for the free that they

قد قال ربك في المعصوم من زلل

لو كنت فظا غليظ القلب لانفصموا

Your Lord said about the infallible from sin

Had you been harsh and hard-hearted, they would have disbanded

حمدا لربك فالألطاف فوقك ما

زالت ترفرف نعمت هذه الخدم

Praise be to your Lord, favors upon you what

Still fluttering, the blessing of this service

برهان صدقي على ما قلت طلعته

في موكب اليوم فاركض أيها القلم

Proof of my truthfulness in what I said its rising

In today's parade, so run O pen

وانشر جمانك وصافا لحفلته

سيان منثور ما تبدي ومنتظم

And spread your wings pure for its occasion

Flowing dispersed what you show and composed

كم نفثة لك في الأقوال ما برحت

خلابة للنهى والقول منسجم

How much praise for you in words has not ceased

Alluring to prohibition and harmonious speech

فانظم فرائدها وانسج بها حللا

فإنها درر أصدافها الكلم

Compose its masterpieces and weave with it robes

For they are pearls and words their shells

ألق البيان من السحر الحلال وقل

إن شئت إني عصا موساي ألتقم

Cast eloquent speech of lawful magic and say

If you wish, “I am Moses' stick that I wield”

كن في البدائع ولاد البديع وجل

بالفكر فيها فما توجيه يرتسم

Be in innovations children of the Innovator and strive

In thinking of them, for no aim is outlined

واخطر لنا تحت قوس النصر منثلجا

صدرا وقل قدحي بالبشر منقعم

And imagine for us under the arch of victory cool

A breast and say my cup with people overflows

والحظ بطرفك طاقات الزهور على ال

أفنان والزهر مجموع ومنتقم

And observe with your eye the flowers' bowers over the

Sweet smelling bushes and the flowers gathered and arranged

تمتد ما بينها الأسلاك طالعة

فيها النجوم نجوم السعد لا الرحيم

Wires stretch between them rising

In them the stars, stars of fortune, not stars of the Merciful

يشقها الركب ركب الباي منغما

في أبحر من جموع القوم تزدحم

The caravan cuts through them, the Bey's caravan chanting

In oceans of crowds gathering

امتد سلكه للمرسى وشمله من

أبي سعيد تجلى وهو ملتثم

Its wire extended to the harbor and included him from

Abu Saeed appeared and he is veiled

على اساريرهم ما في سريرتهم

باد ونوره فيهم كيف ينكتم

In their platforms what is in their conscience

Has disappeared and his light in them, how can it be concealed?

كأنه يوم عيد كارعون به

كاس التهاني ومالت بالنهى النغم

As if it is a feast day, drinking from

The cup of congratulations and tunes of prohibition softened

أصخ بسمعك تلقاء الهتاف تجد

بحرا خضا من الأصوات يلتطم

Listen closely to the cheers, you will find

A roaring sea of voices clashing

وانصت لنغمة طلقات المدافع من

أبراج عزه بالأفلاك تصطدم

And listen to the melody of cannon fire from

The towers of his might to the galaxies colliding

واشمخ بأنفك فالرايات خافقة

يهزها الفخر والإجلال والعظم

And stretch your nose, for the flags fluttering

Shaken by pride, majesty and greatness

فيها الهلال رعى اللّه الهلال ففي

أهل الهلال الخلال البيض والهمم

In them the crescent, may God protect the crescent, for in

The people of the crescent are the pure mettle and resolve

وانظر لفرسان عرب حوله احتشدت

وللبنادق في أكنافها حرم

And look at the Arab horsemen gathered around him

And at the rifles in their scabbards preserved

الخيل والليل والبيداء تعرفهم

الحرب والضرب والقرطاس والقلم

The horses, the night, and the desert they are known by

War, striking, and scroll and pen

للّه تلك الخصال الغر ما فتئت

فينا ويتبعها الإعزاز والشمم

To God those noble traits have not ceased

Honoring us and followed by prestige and reputation

لم لا ورائدنا الدين المتين وفي

أصلابنا غذيت من دره النسم

Why not, and our leader is strong religion, and in

Our ancestry nurtured by its gentle breeze

ما كان أحمد إلا رحمة بعثت

للعالمين وإنا كلنا رحم

Ahmad was only a mercy sent

To all worlds and we are all mercy

هذي المبادي صحيحات نرتلها

في محكم الذكر فلتخضع لها الأمم

These are true principles we recite

In the perfected remembrance, so let nations submit to it

مولاي دامت لك النعماء خالدة

ما دمت فينا بحبل اللّه تعتصم

My Master, may your favors last eternal

As long as you hold to God's rope

أفهمت شعبك معنى الإعتصام به

فاصدع بأمرك إن القوم قد فهموا

You made your people understand the meaning of holding to Him

So call loudly, for the people have understood

بالعدل أمسيت بين الناس محترما

وهكذا العدل في الحكام يحترم

With justice you have become respected among people

And so justice in rulers is respected

ملكت منهم بما أسديته مهجا

فيا لها من يد بالشكر تلتثم

You won them over with what you gave generously

What a hand that wraps around gratitude

أطلقت ألسنة قيدت أفئدة

نعم السراح ونعم القيد عندهم

You unleashed tongues and captured hearts

Good release and good bond to them

خضراؤك اليوم ترجو منك نهضتها

يا ابن الحسين فذرهم منك يغتنموا

Your prosperity today hopes from you its renaissance

O son of Hussein, so let them gain from you

وانشر بيارق علم في معاهدها

ما الجاهلون سواء والألى علموا

And raise the banners of knowledge in its institutes

The ignorant are not equal to the knowledgeable

واكشف ملماتها عن كل كارثة

فأنت في الجدب فيها غيثها العمم

And reveal its blemishes from every calamity

For you are its pouring rain in drought

واضرب بسهمك أكباد الحقائق عن

رأي حصيف ففي آياتك الحكم

And strike with your arrow the hearts of realities with

Wise opinion, for in your signs is wisdom

وحولك اليوم من أهل الدراية من

ترضى سجاياه ولتشهد له الخدم

Around you today are people of wisdom whom

You are pleased with their traits and the servants witness

سلامة اللّه لا زالت تصاحبكم

فاسلم ففيك جميع الناس قد سلموا

God's well-being always accompanies you

So be safe, for in you all people are secure
